I only put that out there to show that it is not likely that things will be opening up any time soon . Mexico cases are rising . I am not comparing them to Canada . People should not be travelling anywhere . Its unfortunate but that's the way it is .
It strikes me as distasteful when I am told what I should or should not do... it brings out the terrorizing 5 year old and the rebellious teenager at the same time. Anyone else feel like that? It is an epidemic, start there. It's going to keep rising, until it starts falling, and it's not going to "just go away." That being said... personally, I think there's a helluva lot of over-reaction due to the hype of the media causing a predictable fear response... in a U.S. Presidential election year. Take the last fact out, make this all start happening in late 2016... for some reason I think the media coverage would... feel different. *shrug* Assuming flight isn't cancelled, resort is open and USA Transfers remains in business, I'm headed to DRM at the end of June, even if it is only Stacia & I and the staff. We enjoy the staff. We'll have the dance floor to ourselves. That would be fine with me. I'll even write a trip report on it, complete with pictures of an empty hot tub at 6:30 p.m. if y'all want.
If you are concerned stay the fuck home. The rest of us will not waste our precious lives wasting away because some are scared and are like lemmings following the “experts” without scientific basis or backup.
