He probably is talking about second hand information. Until plans, drawings and an announcment are made it's all speculation which is what I think he was getting at.
There is no work going on at the moment, no one (outside of those drawing up the plans) knows for sure exactly what will happen or when. Those that do know aren't saying and my guess is the first we will know is when someone reports back here that something is actually taking place. Too many people have heard rumours from too many sources for there not to be something in it. I heard way back in July from a very senior source in confidence, so I didn't say anything until October when others started mentioning it too. The specific items I mentioned previously also came from a good source although they were in turn told by someone else (another good source), but it would just be hearsay and speculation and I wouldn't want people to base their vacation plans on that information - so they shouldn't be considered as fact. Some of them may prove correct, others may not. It will be interesting to review things in a years time and see what did actually happen.
