Yeah the ghosts save chairs like crazy down there. One trip a couple of them reserved chairs so they'd have them when they got back from the Boobs Cruise. Thought really you're going to be gone all day having a great time and you're worried about having a chair poolside for when you get back.
I have seen someone reserve 2 sets of chairs , because they wanted one set in the sun , and one set in the shade .
that's just unreal. The caring compassion and sensitivity of some people blows my mind every day.:ranting1:
we never reserved a chair last april and will probably not this that again. we always found a chair somewhere to hold our stuff at the pool. we never used a chair to sit on it, i'ts was just for our stuff.
I am the same way, most people don't mind letting you store your stuff on or under their chair. I'm never in the chairs anyway, I like to mingle
We sometimes reserve a chair or two and we do use them throughout the day, but if there are none to be had there are plenty of friendly people who will gladly let us stow a bag behind them. It's a nice way to meet more great people.
It is a great way to meet new people! I just keep my sunscreen,my towels, and my room card in my bag anyway.. Several times at TTR I have had people ask for something I don't have in my bag, so I give them my room key " so my leg doesn't hurt from walking a lot" and never has anyone done me wrong..its usually a guy that asks me to watch his wife and he will go get whatever they need. I keep an eye out for her, and he grabs the aloe lol..
It is my theory that pool chairs are placed around the pool as a sobriety test. If you can manage to get out of the pool and gingerly step sideways between the closely placed chairs as you head to the washroom, then you are okay to get back in the pool and continue to party. If not, and you loose your balance and fall on top of someone, all is not lost, you've made a new friend!
