Damn!!! We always reserve our pool chairs with BACON. Now where are we going to sit at noon when we get to the pool to take creepy pictures and complain about making dinner reservations we won't show up for.
Ha! Have you noticed that as soon as Donald goes on vacation threads pop up about Single Guys, Camera, Chair Saving and the Running Buffet?!?! Anybody else thinking he is sitting on the beach with his laptop and a bunch of bogus profiles saying "Hey watch what happens if I do this!" LOL!!
On the saving charis topic I've said this before, and I'll probably say it again the next time this topic comes up... If you are one of "those people" that put out some item to save a chair for yourself at some godawful hour, probably because you've not been to sleep yet, say 4:30 a.m. and you expect people to honor it all day until you get yourself out of bed to join the party at 1:30 p.m., don't be surprised to find some big schmoe like me, using your chair to park their big tired butt for a bit. There are a lot of chairs around the TTR pools, sure, but people always want to save the most awesome ones... and then they don't actually sit in them. I find that weird, and a bit arrogant. In my personal opinion, it is sort of shitty to save a chair, keeping it for your exclusive use - WHEN YOU HAVE NO INTENTION OF ACTUALLY USING IT - during the busiest pool layout time of day, which is between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. It's not like if you come up and we're going to fight or anything, nah... it's just that you'll come up and one of my ilk will be sat down on the end of the chair chatting to someone because that was an easy, convenient place to park a butt, and nobody had actually BEEN THERE in a couple of hours. Show up, ask nice, and we'll move no problem. Make a scene about your chair though.... Oh, boy. It's really fun to make fun of people at Temptation when they are discourteous, don't ye know? Just my $0.02.
I would have zero problem if someone was chillin in a chair I put my stuff on. If I am not using it, and it is in a great spot, then someone should be taking advantage of it. (I say this never having reserved or laid out in one).
Actually Happends to me once.. We was out there just went to have some food ( about 10 minutes ) . ( was too cold to swim in the pool. ) We came back and there's 3 girls that took our chair ( we was in all day .. ) . I was like Sorry but that was my place and I was there 10 minutes agoes.. She said well sorry isn't anymore.. They just pick up our stuff and throw out in a corner I look for like 20 minutes for my things I was so p*ssed. Like that's a matter of no-respect. At least put it on the side. Supprising I never saw those girl again at the resort or here. I'm not usually making a show because we don't reserve chair.. but now my butt was sit in all day .. Even my towel was dry and I had my sunscreen and stuff right on it. If I'm not in, used it I don't care. But if I'm not there for like 10 minutes, probably because I went to get some food on!! Anyways we don't have this problem anymore as I just throw my stuff under someone else chair !! :aktion060:
The difference is the respect part. I never save a chair and if nobody is sitting in a chair and I want to sit down to chat with a friend, I'll sit there whether it's saved or not. Not going to lie down and have a nap, but certainly will have a seat. If the person comes back, I'll happily hop up and move. If they are a dick, that's even better because it's good to know who the dicks are in any environment. Handy when they self-identify so you don't have to learn later on.
I was really p*ssed. they was not dick because there are girl They was more some B*tches. They was liying down in the chair I was like Thank you very much ! -.-
