Hi Matt-Walmart almost always has OceanSpray Cranberry Juice, as well as many of their juice combos, ie CranApple, CranGrape, etc. What I'm looking for is their cranberry sauce, the jellied stuff, either smooth or whole berry, that is traditionally served at Thanksgiving, along with turkey to celebrate the Pilgrims' first big meal with the Indians (not in Cleveland). You know, those folks the Brits kicked out in 1621 and who planted the seeds that have screwed up American law and morals ever since. Can't really blame the Brits for tossing them.
Cheraui, Av Tulum, has had it canned in the import section behind the wine racks, in a can. I have also used the dried ones, like craisins, from Costco, by soaking them a bit to rinse, and cooking with them. A very good stuffing when you incorporate them into the bread filling, with the onions, sage, thyme, etc. Plump up a lot when baked in a juicy bird and I often do that with a chicken.
I'm Hungry!!!!! BTW, thanks Zina, we got them right where you said we would find them in your first post.
Since I started this, let me end it by first thanking everyone for the help, second, thanking one particular CancunCare regular who actually carried a bundle of goodies across the border for us and in the process temporarily reaffirmed my faith in humanity , and finally by wishing all of you out there a healthy and happy Thanksgiving.
