We went the last 2 Mondays. A lot of people showed up for the first one cause Jamie let every body know about it and they announced it several times. This Monday not many showed up because nobody knew about it! It was very nice of them to do it, I hope they keep doing it, it's a good way to get to know the repeaters you havent meet yet
Yeah, we wouldn't have known about it if Jamie hadn't told us. They did announce it once by the pool (that we heard) but it was very quick and garbled and I don't think most people had any idea. If they really want to make it a thing, they need to do a better job of promoting it - maybe mentioning at check-in.
Craig and I were very impressed with the Cocktail party for repeaters. It was an exclusive party and fun to chat with the management. We wouldn't have known about it if Jamie hadn't told us. They should mention it at Check-in as a "Hi, Repeater! Please be our special guest at a Repeaters Cocktail party upstairs Monday night." This was not a sales pitch and it's so hard to know these days with all the resorts doing the time-share thing. This little party was very cool and felt very elite! It's definitely worth getting the word out about.
We went and talked for about an hour about things we like to see come back and things that are annoying or upsetting regulars repeaters. I think we got good feedback and the food was great.
