My husband wore khaki shorts to the Italian and Asian restaurants last week of April - no problem. That was also the case in January this year. He didn't wear sandals, he wore his suede slip on mocs, and wore a short sleeve button up shirt (Tommy Bahama type). He did get told at the Mexican place for lunch that he had to have a shirt on, and back in January he had to change shoes because his water shoes were all wet and leaving a trail of water when he went to the buffet (also Mexican place).

Okay good to know! We'll throw in long pants and a collared polo for safety's sake! Thanks y'all!

Nice to know you don't need to take 'dress' shoes though. Husband wore a pair of proper 'wine and dine' shoes last trip. Nice to know we only need tennis shoes this time round.

This last April I went to Asian once and Italian twice, each time in nice linen shorts and a pullover, polo-style shirt or a bowling-style button up casual shirt. Wore sandals, too.

That might have just been because it was April and the Addicts may have revolted if they couldn't get in without wearing slacks, I don't know.

Just got back. I did not have any closed shoes. Just nice casual flip flops. Also only brought 1 pair of light linen pants which I wore once. We went out to restaurants 4 times. Always did have nice shorts and shirts though.

I am not bringing dress pants or slacks. We live in Florida where nice shorts, flip flops or sandals and a decent shirt are the norm. I will eat else where or have a liquid dinner :ernaehrung005:

    From the Temptation website FAQ:

IS THERE A DRESS CODE FOR SPECIALITY RESTAURANTS?
The dress code is casual elegant which means, for the gentlemen, no shorts, no t-shirts, no jeans and no sandals.

I guess this means ladies can wear whatever they want... :icon_wink:
