Does anyone know if you can get red bull or something close at the TTR bars? or should i load the suitcase up?
I have seen it in stores there before but it was pretty expensive (can't remember the exact price). They have never had anything at the TTR bars that I know of. I have always just put some in my suitcase....
Due to the high price, I no matter where one purchases it, I think I'd ask in the Living in Cancun forum where is the best place to get it in Cancun and how much they charge. Then you can get a better gage on whether or not it's worth it to buy at home and lug it down or buy it all once you get to Cancun..... Jus a mild suggestion... Michelle
I was buying it every day in the gift shop at the resort. A few times when it was closed I went next door to the mini-mart. I forget the price, around $4.00 American I believe. It's $3.00 Canadian here so I don't think it is that much more expensive there, perhaps a dollar a can, but I don't think it is worth lugging a dozen cans to save a few dollars.
I think it was about $10 for a 4pack at Walmart. If you're going to Walmart anyways, really not worth throwing a bunch of cans in your luggage.
hmmm... I don't remember it being that much more than here Stateside... Maybe $2.25 to $2.50 a can. There's a drugstore across the street and there was a little convenience store right next to TTR thta sold it for about the same price.
Last time I was there.. a year ago.. $4 a can was what I saw. :shock: Got to realy, really love that stuff for $4 a can! Jamie
