We connected on fb about a month ago, had a nice message chat, told him our july dates and bday date
I believe he now has FB. We chat with him on messenger but mosty on whats up app.
And I can confirm what Steve posted...Armando is no longer employed.
But he is attempting to come back ...soon as occupancy and need picks up.
Also only Premier members, regardless of room type, and those in Master Suites and Penthouse now have butlers.
Great, forgot to ask him today.
I know he prefers whats up app.

We had Lefranc (Frank). He was great. Very attentive and knowledgeable. We didn’t ask him for mush but he did get us all that we requested.

Armando is back as we had him as our Butler Sept1-10 and also now.
As someone who has never had a butler, what are the best ways to utilize the option? Fiance and I are weighing our options with memberships before we go but I feel like the benefits are wasted on us if we don't know what to do.
Any OG members have advice?
At least for us as Premier members they meet us at check in and take of helping get our room and getting the bellhops to take our luggage at check in and out. They also are sure to verify transportation pick up at check out..
In addition during our stays they take care of reserving cabanas at pool and Bash, making sure housekeeping supplies what we ask for/need/want, deal with any maintenance issues, make reservations at She or Habachi (Sutra)...the only two needed, decorating room far any special day/request, scheduling lobster dinner, reminding us of our Premier benefits like beach (now pool) lunch, Premier dinner, any other special Premier goings on, and mainly supplying information on the new revolving restaurant schedules (not every is open every night).
They check on us every day for anything we may need.
They work in teams 8-4 and 2-10 so there is a bit of an overlap for communication.
They also flip flop shifts every week.
This is for coverage for most of the day.
Most do not know this and think they may only have one Butler.
Also, they are busy with lots of guests so if you have one you need to request to meet them at check in and also meet the other.
So hint hint folks, tip them well.
Of course this is based on how much you will utilize them.
I always give both a $50 bill upfront (tip...to insure promptness) to get their attention and tell them there is more coming depending on how the week goes...mainly keep the wife happy and be sure to respond to her needs.
We are pretty self reliant and do much ourselves as we know how/who but appreciate them checking with us throughout the day...assuming they can find us....especially in the pools/beach etc. with several hundred heads, faces, bodies, etc. that all look different when clothed later.
