That reminds me of a funny thing, last August we met a really nice guy, was the life of the party! My husband called him "Mike" for the entire week on the last day he informed us his name was Billy! Oh well, Mike had a great time anyway!!!
There are several things that make this entire part of the trip rough. Names can be very hard to remember. Some days I feel like I meet 30+ people easily, and that is hard to keep track of when drinking shots all day. I can typically remember a conversation we had, more then I can remember a name. I feel bad if I forget names, and I am trying, but it is tough. Also, everyone can look so different from day to day, and day to night. We are all hidden behind sunglasses and hats most of the day, then people look so different at night in their more normal appearance. I try to make it as easy as possible on people. Cup with name on it, everyday I wear a bandana, similar style sunglasses, and my orange wrist band. Just adding one thing (like the bandana) that makes you stand out a little bit, can really help people do the name to face association. Also, tattoos can make a difference. I know people say "you will see me I have a flower tattoo on my shoulder"...that's awesome you have that, and it's probably super cool, but that isn't going to be super helpful as a identification marker. I want to remember everyone ahead I talk to on this site, but that can be tough as well. The pictures are sometimes small and unclear, and the screen-names don't always help with the associating a face to your real name, and then adding having the screen-name on top of that. I just hope no one is offended if a name is forgotten, it isn't that I don't like you, it just isn't the easiest thing in the world in the TTR environment. Also, the "two heads together is better then one" works, when your partner can help you out. However, Elyse is always having her own independent conversations with people/groups, that we often don't know who the other person was actually hanging with.
hey you works for us wes is 6 2 ish short blond hair wes is pretty good with faces and names ..me not so much another way to spot us .. wes will most likely be yelling .. bevy go get shots .. or lunch i'll have the suntan lotion ..and last time I had a line waiting to get rubbed down I also wear a black eternity collar around my neck so come say hi hang around ..

The themes take a little more work for the guys but totally do able. My advise is if you think you have gone to far go 3 steps further and you still will not have gone far enough.
