Well we all know that it doesn't matter what we look like at Temptations and all they did was keep themselves from being a part of a great group of people. Too bad.
Meanwhile.... back to the music.... Techno smechmo.... One night Danny Boy who wanted to hear Rock and Roll.. cheer.. Who wanted to hear Techno... silence... Who want to hear Hip Hop... cheer.. and off they went. They have two main DJ there now since Enrique went off to be the head of the music entertainment at both Desire resorts. There is Rafa (DR Karma) and Alex. Rafa is more set in his ways but if you wait 5 minutes he changes toons. You might not like what he changed to so wait another 5 and grove to the next set. And who can’t use a 5 minute break every once in a while from sweating your ass off? Alex mixes it up more and plays to what fills the dance floor. So if you like what you are hearing get off your butt and onto the floor! For those that are worried about a 24X7 diet of Techno, worry no more. It ain't like that. So "lets dance on the floor" between "Shots, shots, shots" and "ride a horse" on those "summer nights!" Yup.. all techno all the time.. HA! Jamie
Wow! I'm so glad u said this...after reading the Jenny Craig comment I was getting a bit self consious and was considering unpacking the bikinis; but screw it. I'm coming to have a good time with my hubby and hopefully with some new friends and have decided form this moment forward I look how I look and I like me! Cant wait to get there without Jenny!

I was just thinking the same thing. Heck we go to Winter Music Conference in South Beach and DEMF every year ON PURPOSE to hear that kind of music. And I can guarentee you we are not in our early 20's. Do I want to hear 8 hours of Swedish House Mafia or David Guetta? for the one millionth time, it's not called techno music. Techno dissapeared in the mid 90's. It is called House music and along with Hip Hop is the dominant dance music genre the world over. Temptation is classified and defined as a party resort and therefore the DJ's have to play party music, which in this case is House music. With my full respect to other types of music, Country or other genres is not considered party music. And like someone had mentioned before, we go to Cancun and Temptation to get away from your daily routines and just have a great time. Dance music is a huge solution for this get away from our daily routines.
The music does tend to suck at times especially after the fourth day or so but what are we really there for the music or the people you meet and have a memorable trip with.
