Ready made bread dough . . .

    I'm looking for a baker or store that sells - ready made bread dough.
    Needing 1kg for home use.
    Chedrau gave me some dough, but not enough yeast in it and smelt like Parmesan cheese.

    I haven't ever seen it here, although can't say I've looked very hard. The bread here is one of my bug bears - it's horrible!

    If you can find anything half decent it is stale within a day, everything else lasts for a month but tastes like ****

    Costco has Organic bread. I think it's like $42 a loaf but it's really good. I keep it in the frig to extend the shelf life..

    kind of a late reply- but- easy to make yourself-and much better
    31/4 cups flower.....costco sells
    1cup water-or milk- I use water
    1 tBl sugar
    1 Tbl oil i use olive oil
    1 tsp salt
    1 1/2 tsp yeast
    Mix for 10 mins
    Let raise in pan for 1 hr or till double in size
    remove and shape and put into a bread pan
    again let rise for maybe 1 hr
    put into 200 degree hot oven for 30 mins- [350 degrees]
    Done- remove and better bread than you can buy here

    Really trying not to make my own.
    With the humidity that we're having - everything flops!
