Depending on the class of service, you can bring some seriously heavy bags. We fly American, and get a 70lb baggage allowance in 1st class, and 2 bags per person. We usually bring a suitcase each and then a second one for wifey shoes and all the party stuff.
Yea h I just checked , most are 50 pounds ,, couldn't find the 44 pound one , pretty sure it was Sunwing , but it is now back up
Sunwang sucks terribly. Carry-on only 2 per person and up to 5 KG - This is completly stupid and retarded. ( Just put on and make it up to 10 KG ) They are now offering 23 KG like the other so they are less retarded on this
I did a few trips to Mexico on Sunwing, though I hate that airline. There is so little legroom that I always paid the extra $80 or $100 or whatever the charge was for an extra legroom seat, which also gave you a bigger luggage allowance, plus a $50 credit on your next trip, which I was able to use when I was going to TTR twice per year. I saw a guy who was 6'4" literally be unable to fit in one of Sunwing's regular seats. They had to give him an extra legroom seat.
I saw a guy with a cast , and they would not accommodate him ,, his leg was in the isle ,, I don't trust them ,, we were delayed a hole day cause the pilot would have been an hour over his flight allowance , they sent him to sleep it off , never got compensated , they said it was weather related on his previous flight ,, I wouldn't fly with them for free
I hear you, Donald...haven't used Sunwing for 5 years. On one trip, flying home from Cabo, they took us south first to Puerto Vallarta on an unscheduled stop to pick up passengers there! We were supposed to be on a direct flight from Cabo to Vancouver!
