Have met several couples who are TTR repeaters, who've never heard of Cancuncare. We've also met people who without ever visiting the site, think it's a swingers site. lol I know it helped us alot with info, our first time going to Cancun.
I like that Matt and Diana actually tried to apply some logic and come up with an equation. I would have to agree with that number and say that I was going to guess it was somewhere around 15%. When we were there for Mayham last year that first part of the week felt more like 30%, but then as the week went on, and some of the early people left, it was much less. However, around the Members only bar it was like 80% CCC people at all times that week. I didn't know about CCC until my second to last day on my first trip, when I was basically told we "had to" go on the Boobs Cruise, then the rest is history. Think about this though, there are repeaters that know of this site, and know to go on the Boobs Cruise, but I guess they don't really participate on the forum. We have a close group of 12 going in May, but out of that group Lexi and I are the only ones that are ever on this site. The rest of the group just talks via a group Facebook message. So I don't know if you would consider these CCC members? They are more just like Boobs Cruise lovers. Also, think of all the people that just view the info on the boards as guests. I notice when I click on people's profile pictures I see comments by people that I never see say anything on the forum. Now I don't know if they just like to look at pictures and make comments, but that always seems a bit odd to me. I don't just use this site to peruse pictures of hot chicks, if all I wanted was to just rub one out to a girl in a bikini, then I probably use some other sites on the internet. So for this classification or people I don't even know where to factor them into the equation. Cause if you saw them at the resort, they might not say anything, or probably won't be sporting a orange bracelet or bubba mug.
You might be missing that you wrote "Books" instead of "Boobs" in your post. I didn't realize it until it was pointed out. Funny how we all just see those first three letters and assume the rest.
Me too! I had so much fun on my 1st visit to Temptation, that I had to post a review on TripAdvisor. From there, I read other reviews + saw mention of Cancuncare... and the Boobs Cruise. We were there 3 weeks ago (for our 4th visit) and while we met quite a few people from the board, I didn't see anyone else wearing the orange CCC wristbands. So there might've been a lot more.
Ok so we are wondering that if the % of ccc folks going Temptation is so low, what is the point of dressing up différently than other for the theme night? It means we will be like 15% wearing an other theme outfit and 85% dressed with Temptation theme. What to follow! CCC or Temptation?
That's an entirely different question than the one Alan originally asked I think. And one where the idea of selection bias comes more into play. Just like my feeling that the denizens of the sexy pool have a higher weighting of CCC folks than say the quiet pool or the beach. I think the ratio of people who do any theme participation at Patio's and actively party at all have a higher ratio of CCC folks in general than the overall resort population. So, if you're going during one of the CCC named group weeks, you can never go wrong following either the CCC theme or the resort theme...there's enough to go around either way to fit in. I think people get too worked up about this compliance stuff...go party, dress up in your best party duds, nobody gives a fuck if you're on theme or not...you just get extra points and meet-others opportunities if you do.
