The weather this last week or so has been the coldest I remember in 5 years of living here.

Temps got down to 54F (12C) on several nights. Now that might sound quite warm compared to where many of you are from but with no heating for the house and my warmest piece of clothing being a T shirt it has been pretty chilly.

Like other parts of the World at the moment, the recent temps in Cancun are a bit of a freak occurrence. Today the sun has been out a lot more than in recent days so I think we are coming out of it. There isnt often a lot of rain at this time of year but it can happen.

Maybe it's time to leave a bigger carbon footprint on the beach!

Looking at the 10 day report I was seeing highs of 80 and lows in the 70's during that week (we go almost the same dates as you). I'll be in the pool with those kind of temperatures.

I guess if it really does rain all day long we can always go the Alternative bar to play pool and Wii or....

    ROOM PARTY!!!! :daveandmo:

We were there last year 1/31-2/6. It was colder, and very windy. Had a sweater every night. Clouds/Sun with wind during the day. We still had a great time. We left 13 degrees and 16 inches of snow. 2 years ago we were there in January and the weather was great 80's. Hope it improves by the 30th.
