The old Fat Tuesdays is definitely closed, as is La Boom... there is indeed a new Fat Tuesdays right next to where the Pirate Cruise takes off, at el Embarcadero. It's not a 'beach club' like the old one, just a bar/restaurant in a shopping area: There wasn't one person in there at 1pm on Monday afternoon, but they may get a nighttime crowd. I never went back. sorry the pics are so blurry...not sure what happened there.
what a shame about fat's..that sucks,at least i got to experience it i guess..a new fat tuesdays but its not on the beach?that sucsk too..but oh well,never knew about la boom though!!?? about to read ya day 1 report d...
La Boom is dead and buried...way to many money issues among other things for that place to reopen. The locals don't think the new Fat Tuesdays will last either. They figure 6 months and it will be gone unless it does a whole lot better than it is now. And that's not likely as Springbreak is one of the most profitable times of the year for bars.
