quite room block(s)

Jacuzzi room is worth the upgrade- rooms surround the quiet pool and are on the first floor. No late night stumbling up stairs We've upgraded our last 5 times there.

They wanted 150 bucks a night more. thats almost 1000 bucks for the upgrade total!!

I can think of many other things to spend 1000 bucks on.

 

We Just got bumped from leaving at 6am till 1pm on a thursday and dont get in till 7pm so im think 8-8:30 then right to thursday night lingerie night-shit might just wear it on the plane

 

4000 block is alright too but you do get some road noise

 

It takes 2-2.5hrs hrs on average to offboard plane, go through immigration, then get baggage, then customs, then boarding private shuttle, then drive, then stand in check-in line at resort to actually get to your room.

Online check-in for us has been completely worthless - we have done it twice, both times it did not speed up the process or get us a room that we wanted.

The best rooms in our opinion are around the quiet pool and require an upgrade to "ocean view" for all 2nd & 3rd floor rooms. 1st floor are all Jacuzzi rooms.

Stay away from anything surrounding Paty O's. The music and conversation starts at 6pm and gets progressively louder as more and more people congregate and then at about 10pm the DJ or band with some very big stacks plays until 2am. People then congregate in a drunken loud manner until 3am or so.

4000/5000 block is an easy safe bet -

 

Thanks,for all the info-its easy to stay up till 4am but not 7 days in a row-so a little quiet time would be nice.

That would probably make for an easy pass through on the security check!
