As far as the weather, in the summer, thunderstorms usually build up out over the land inland from the hotel zone. It rarely rained in the hotel zone when we were there, although each day, so pretty tall thunderheads built up inland and blocked out the sun, which wasn't entirely a bad thing ...
Heard that the crowd that was there when you were there was more conservative. Just got back and would say that it was its usual 50/50 split or better while we were there. Maybe the warmer May weather made the difference. Jamie
