We’re new to the board and looking to plan our first trip this summer. I have a quick question. My wife needs her couple of “quiet hours” each day, and the “quiet pool” or beach sounds great. However, in reading through all the posts the last few days, we couldn’t really determine if topless and thongs were acceptable at the quiet pool and beach as well as the sexy pool. She’s hoping that is the case, as she wants to split her day between the “party” atmosphere, with some quiet hours in between, but doesn’t want to get those tan lines in doing so. Looking forward to our first trip.

I saw it ran about 1 hour one time in Cancun. But I never go in storm season. It will rain a little but most often its a good time to go eat lunch. check out http://www.cancunliveweather.com/ andremeber the Beach is diferent then the City but you will get a good idea.
You might get some short bursts of rain that won't last long. But you won't be there when the "flood" & hurricane season hits hard. I don't recall the light sprinkles of rain necessarily cooling things off...they just seemed to make it a tad more sticky temporarily to me. Michelle
Sounds like you two are looking for the same thing we were. We stayed 04/20-25 and while thongs and topless were allowed it wasn't highly practiced, the wife felt a bit out of place and stayed more covered-up then she planed and I hoped. We were a bit disappointed...
