I've heard a couple of different things about the hotel and I wanted to find out what is true and what isnt. I'm staying All inclusive at the Oasis Cancun not the Grand Oasis. First off, is it true I must pay either a 100$ deposit per person when I arrive at the hotel or a $25 dollar insurance fee? I also heard that being placed in phase I is different then being placed in phase II. What are the differences and do I have a choice? I heard you cannot eat at any of the Al La Carte restuarants unless your Grand Oasis, and cannot eat or drink in phase 2 if your from phase 1. What restuarants and bars are open to me because I am getting many different answers from other sites. Please clear this up for me so I wont be in for any suprises when i get there. 25-27 dollar insurance fee, NON refundable from what I remember unless you are over 25 years of age. Phase I is the party spot, phase II is where older folks and famalies are, although during spring break....there arent as many. And it is true, there are a few less places to eat when you are staying in the oasis cancun and not the Grand, but to be honest, there are PLENTY of options there for you, you wont care!!! And you can get drinks at phase II or phase I it doesnt matter!!
Do I have a choice if I go into phase 1 instead of two? And do I have access to the party scene in both phases? Thanks guys. Lol flech, I heard to avoid the burgers at all costs.
There is no gate or access block between the too phases the pool at oasis is 1/4 mile long phase 2 occupies one end phase 2 the other
hahaha I remember one morning I was SOOOO hurting, it was like 10:30am and they just put the burgers and fries out..... andrew and I walked in there loaded up an entire plate each of fries, took a few bites and said..... andrew: " j, how about a drink.....?" jason: " ya, good idea......" Where we went over, got 2 drinks each and started to get DRUNKKKKKKKKK all day, ohhh boy that was one of my worse days, as by 2:30pm I was eating lunch with the guys and I had NO idea where I was........ there is picture evidence of this........... good times!
Haha Jay I remember that day, I assume that was the one where you were walking around with Riki's cane and those sunglasses on...I have videos of that, hilarious. As for the beer pong...we tried to play a few times, sometimes they would stop us, sometimes they wouldn't. Of course you can always play in your room, nobody would know. Better question, is it really worth hauling a beerpong table across the world?
