There are certain things I cannot find in this town. Can any of you help? I've looked at La Europea, Walmart, pinChedraui, Soriana and Costco. But I may have missed something somewhere. Here's my list: - Rice wine, for cooking - Thai curry paste (any at all) - Peanut butter that's not fat-replaced like that Jif crap - Peanut oil - Tamarind paste (though maybe I can make it) - Rice noodles - Lemongrass I know it's asking a lot, but I really miss making Thai food. Kim Call me I have gotten most everything here and can get you a recipe for the Curry. We are openeng a Thai Restaurant in a couple of weeks so you maybe can satisfy your craving there. :wink: That wink is just wierd it looks like a psycho emoticon.

And thanks to Jackie, who contacted me off-board, I found egg noodles and peanut oil (and bamboo shoots) upstairs in a little shop in PLaza Hong Kong. The peanut oil was outrageously expensive but it was available. Thanks for the help everyone.
There is a Chinese speciality store in Cancun that has all the items you listed I believe. I know I finally found peanut oil there. I am unsure of the address, but it located on the corner next to the radiology center. You can also check the Chinese Distribution store located in Central Abastos Frank in Puerto Morelos
