Question for Brits

Will you be buying US $ or Peso's when going to Cancun?

If i buy US $ will i get more Peso for my money? Or is it best to change the £ straight to Peso?

Any help greatly appreiciated.

i believe there really is no point in changing your money twice, so pesos might be the way to go.

saying that i am canadian, and i always convert to usd then purchase wiht that. just be aware that they will give change in pesos

To be fair i always use Dollars i think theres a small loss but nothing huge.

i just find it easier to work with dollars, but trigger is right i dont think the loss is that much. it might just be a preference thing really.

 

i always went for dollars. just easier to work out and to carry.
if you need change for the bus or whatever they can give it to you at your hotel reception.

but be careful, when you get your £s changed to $s over here the notes
dont smell very nice. they wreak to be fair. hahaha dont know what thats about?!
