if you look at my pictures, you'll see I quit trying to straighten my hair years ago because it was just a losing battle! My hair does pretty well there, stays curly after I style it - the only problem I have is if I get it wet in the pool it doesn't look great after it air dries - then it is frizzy! I just put it in a messy bun or pony tail and have more to drink!!

I use a diffuser to dry my hair, and I use Deva Curl Angel gel, works very well without being crunchy or sticky. If there is any curl when you tame the frizz, you might be better off just going with the products to enhance the curl - otherwise if you know you always want your hair to be straight then the keratin treatment is the only thing that is likely to work with that humidity. That's what people do in Seattle and it works very well - it isn't hot and humid here, but it is wet an awful lot of the time!! I could never keep my hair straight here (could barely do that when I lived in SoCal without humidity!).

I highly recommend man juice hair products, Not only are they great for frizzy hair but also for dry skin. Just saying - Chris

My hair is naturally curly, but not mega curly. It is pretty much a frizz bomb 24/7, and I have to straighten it to get it neat. Even though I've got universal voltage stratighteners, they were useless in Mexico...barely got hot at all! I ended up ditching them and just leaving it to air dry from the pool. Looked ok with when sun dried - hair dryer dried my hair is a mess. Good tip about the serum high in protein! Normal serums like John Freida Frizz Eaze don't work for me.

Lots of good tips!!! I straighted mine a few times the last time at TTR, then was usually into the drinks pretty good and it didn't matter if it curled or frizzed anymore - LOL At least now I know how to try and fix it!

I love to straighten my hair, but in the heat, I usually jet let it go wild with curls. Matt knows to have a hair elastic on him at all times in case I want to toss my hair up.

I have absolutely no quams about Jarred being my hairdresser for the week though! We can work out some sort of arrangement! :aktion069:

I would say go with keratin treatment... it's made of natural keratin and seals your hair! Check it out on youtube, there's video of before/after treatment! It's amazing, that's what i'm gettin before i go! I'll let you know after i do it (this friday)

I also love to use dry oil on my hair... it helps to keep humidity away!
