Is the Trendy Ocean View and the Bash Tower Ocean view similar? Can anyone please tell me what the difference is more or less?
The Ocean View rooms are in the older buildings from before the renovation. They were all remodeled during the renovation. Tower rooms are all within the center new section of the resort. You’ll use an elevator to get to your Tower rooms but the other buildings are three levels high with no elevators. We’ve stayed in both many times. In our opinion the Tower rooms are overpriced…but we occasionally book them if there’s a decent deal on Orbitz or if we want a change of scenery.
Tower rooms are considerably bigger and have a nicer bathroom (at least bigger than the trendy garden view, not sure about trendy ocean view). You also get access to an additional pool deck with the tower room. They are more expensive, so its just a matter of opinion if the additional cost is worth it. To each there own. Personally, I'd pay extra for the tower room but I wouldn't let it keep me from going if the cost was somehow prohibitive.
These may have changed since last year, For Bash you get: 1. Access to Sky bar for free 2. No room service charge 3. Free porn 4. Probably a better view 5. Usually a higher cost but not always. 6. Maybe a shorter walk to Bash and Sexy pool (if that matters) 7. As mentioned in another post - access to a set of loungers. They are beach side and not pool side but that helps to just have a place to drop your stuff.

Try to get a room on the east side so you are not baking on your balcony in the morning . Right side if you are looking at the ocean from the lobby .
