Of course us having a computer in Cancun isn't going to stop them from doing things they shouldn't. WE'RE NOT THAT NAIVE..... and didn't your parent's ever tell you that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all? Who's naive now? :aetsch022:
I am just praying the furniture is in a relatively close approximation to the condition it was in when we left and that there is some liquor left in the house.
Ahhh. I remember those days about worrying what the kids are doing back at home. Unless the cops are involved I don't wanna know. Then again....I STILL DON'T WANNA KNOW until the day before we are due to come home.....that way.....We may just decide to be permanent residents of Cancun....LOL
Has anyone ever just purchased a prepaid SIM card for their phone/iPad there? I can't recall seeing any threads on this. Would it be cheaper than spending, say $5/day at the internet desk? Plus you could text or actually call the kids? I've never really looked into this so I might be way out to lunch, and hopefully someone already has and can tell us their thoughts on this as I'm curious now too!
I have Verizon and have international calling enabled. I used my phone a few times for phone calls and sent and received text messages with people at the resort and home. Total is cost me $18 the next month, just remember to turn off your data!
