It seems like they decide where to put you when you are checking in so it does help to know what you want. To us, view and jacuzzis were not important but not being on first floor, having a double shower and being away from patio's was. I called a week before we got there to tell them that and they said they wrote it down but I could see at check-in that they hadn't done anything with that request. However, they were great at check-in and they found a room with my 3 requests without a problem. BTW - Courtyard views are better for balcony shows

There's a thread somewhere about the balcony shows that people give. In a courtyard room, you are looking at other balconies.

Also, I believe that people either:
    1. Intentionally leave the drapes open
    2. Are too drunk to close them
    3. Don't realize that there are 2 drapes - 1 that is see through and one that isn't
    4. All of the above

Not that we are peepers or anything like that......:icon_biggrin:

The shower is a rectangular tiled room. I would say 7' by 3'. There are 2 shower heads on the ceiling. 1 end has a frosted glass pane that looks into the bedroom.
