I would actually just leave your stuff in a friends room until check out or at the front desk and party at the hotel until you need to leave! Or like fletch said, hit up the airport and get wasted!

 

You should be able to leave your bags at the front desk. We checked out several hours before we actually left for the airport last year and the desk staff at the Islander was happy to store our bags till we left.
