Question about Lobster dinner at resort.

Do not know if it was just a bad dinner but we had the dinner on the beach w lobster and steak and the steak was the worst piece of meat we have ever had there. The lobster was not cooked all the way. On the other had we have had the same meal in the seafood resturaunt and it was great. So don't know if it was just a one time occurance on the beach dinner or what, we never tried it a second time.

 

You just pay cash to a person when you are ready to eat? Do you know the price?

 

Same here........I love good meat! And the "fish" or lobster tastes great too!

 

So this doesn't sound like the same as drops of love. For drops of love we were seated in the gazebo with candles our own waiter a salad, lobster and a desert. No steak but everything else was amazing. Where do you eat for the lobster dinner purchased on the beach? Is it the same setup as I described?

 

You book with the person at the tent and they charge it to your room.

Runs about $45 per person but you can keep going back. Has the house wines too but most people don't like them. You can opt for a better wine for an additional charge.

It is not the same as the Drops of Love package. Instead of the gabazo there are several tables and a grill set up in the sand between the tatoo hut and the chinese rest. They are not right on top of each other but they are also not on their own section of beach.

We did it one year and it was nice. Have wanted to do it again but just have never pulled the trigger again yet.
