We have used Alpharooms twice and had no issues at all, they had the best rates at hte time.We used Expedia for our next trip to TTR in Nov. They had the best deal by far. Also we always use USA Transfers just can't beat them for the money.
I have used Alpharooms 3 times and got a great deal every time. Their price is usually under 75 bucks per day per person (The cheapest I every paid was 52 bucks per night!!!). If you choose to use debit, you need to call your bank to authorize a overseas transaction for the amount. The only weirdness I ever encountered was calling the resort a week before my trip to make sure the reservation was approved. The resort had no record of my paid reservation. In a panic, I stayed up to the wee hours of the night and called the UK to see what was up. I was told Alpharooms have a block of rooms that are theirs to sell and the reservation may not confirm until a few days prior to my arrival. I called the resort the day before I traveled, And low and behold, they had me in the system. No problem upon check in at all.
Upgrades How can you upgrade your room to an ocean view with them...We have tried before but never figured out how to other than in the comments section but no pricing for upgrades.
It was to run a debit card thru "master secure" so that my bank an verify that I made the charge. Thats why I thought it was very strange.
