20+ visits as a solo traveller

Hi , I have travelled solo many times to Temptation as a solo traveller 90% of visits were booked through alpharooms.... what you pay with alpharooms is the total price for the hotel you dont get charged anything for AI on arrival. you do have to book a flight separtely ....I have just looked and the total price is 854 usd for that week. this includes everything..tax,AI RATES... ALL.

This comment was made by someone who was apparently a member and they booked through the programme not with a travel agent. so it would not be relevant to you.

Our experiences have been that if we book a single room, that's what we have paid for. If we booked a double, that's what we paid for. The only time there was an extra charge was when we booked a single room for a friend and last minute we added another person to that room. We had to pay the AI fee for that person. We also found that to be negotiable.

Rates for a single person are always going to be higher unfortunately. But if you're on a site like alpharooms, expedia etc and do the search for 1 person to the room you'll get the right price and be charged accordingly.

As for what the review said, it sounds goofy. Unless they read a price per person, expecting that and didn't notice that it was listed as based on double occupancy.

I booked mine at the $850 for the week like Erik got. If when you look the price goes up, try again the next day. In the course of 48 hours I got $1300, $1500, $1800, $1100, and the $850. I put down the $10 at 1100, but quickly switched when I found it cheaper!

Check the dates on alpharooms carefully. It was behaving badly and moving the dates by one when I was trying to buy. You had to fiddle with the different dates to get the ones you wanted.
