Bio oil to help the scars go away as much as possible as fast as possible. Zinc Oxide to keep the sun from damaging the scars and skin around the scars. The early care of scars can change how fast and how well the scars heal. Think 6-12 months to great healing compared to several years to not so great healing. The bottom line is if you let the scars get burned you'll regret it for years. This burning happens very easily in Mexico, drunk, and having fun.

The same applies for those who have had them reduced. Since the scar is under, up the center and around the nipple you need to be extra careful the first summer not to let it burn.
