I recommend you take the approach of tell and not ask but always in a kind manner. It’s easy for them to say no if you ask if you can but if you word it as such that you are doing these steps and why so you simply need them to work with you on it that is much harder for them to put the brakes on and much easier to escalate upwards. The person you spoke with just may not have that level of authority required or knowledge so you can always ask to be passed to someone who can make it happen as you describe above. Well I feel your pain! We are from Canada so I've been scrounging everywhere I can with the US dollar exchange. I booked through premier and then they told me certain dates weren't available but would give me a discount on the ocean view regular rate. I was also told I should book right away and I needed to pay in full. This was last week, then the NEXT day I find a deal on Snap Travel for $100 less a night so $1000 less for the 10 night stay. When I emailed back about it I got the total run around. Some people seem to be able to get price matches and satisfaction and others not. Even after explaining we were there 30 times and repeat customers are so important. Talk to a wall. We are paying through the NOSE for this trip. Probably will be the last
Have you actually ever used Snap travel? Does the price they quote include the taxes? It just says does not include resort fee? What is that? No $listed
The very first time we went we booked in 2010 through a 3rd party that said resort fees not included, when we arrived at Temptation we had to pay the all-inclusive fees, it was the most expensive part of the vacation (we did know this prior to arrival). I would speak/email someone to clarify
