I will be using tanning booths as of next week as I'm as white as the driven snow...

Gotta love living in FL! I get to tan for free before we leave :) Good thing we have a fenced back yard! Hoping to get an hour in this afternoon! Docs informed me yesterday the boob skin is more sensitive because stretched - had not occurred to me! Eek!

The sun is intense. Pre tan is a good thing, I still manage to burn. I also bring a t shirt for after 2:00 pm to keep from burning. I use a 60 above water and 30 below water and get a perfect even tan every time. 8 and 15 SPF is to week for there.

Hush you, there are sensitive Canadians on here who don't want to hear about your outdoor tanning lol

We met a lady last April who'd just had a boob job and she made sure the girls stayed covered while the sun was at its peak.

That helps, but how do you get rid of that pesky hand shaped tan line?

Pre tanning is the way to go! My hubby burns easily and he goes before we leave about a month out. He learned the hard way the first time he went to Mexico a few years back and got sun poisoning...............fun trip! lol

Last year we pre-tanned 3 times a week for 3 weeks before going to TTR... This year we still have some colour left from last year so decided to only go 3 times before our trip next week. Went on Monday, going today and last one on Sunday. We have natural olive skin color but we do burn if we are too long under the sun, and we definitely don't want that happening. We use 4 SPF to tan about 2 hours a day while in TTR, then we switch to 12 SPF for the rest of the day (for the face we use 20 SPF).

The sun in Cancun is twice as intense as in STL. Neither of us ever burn at home, but we both have to be careful in Cancun. One or two days in Cancun will make up for a month in a tanning bed. We choose to take be really conservative (sun wise) for the first day or so instead of hitting the tanning beds. We also avoid anything above SPF 15 or 30 unless we get burnt. The high SPF products seem to burn worse than 15.
