If you bought a Premier membership from someone a week before your trip to TTR and because you booked your trip as a package were unable to cancel just your hotel reservation and rebook as a member, would you still ask to receive a white band and the member benefits that you just paid for?
Here's a current ad supposedly placed by a Premier member who is selling their referral Discounted Stay At Temptations Resort, Cancun, Mexico | Mexico | Canada | Kijiji I've also seen similar ads on Ebay before. So it is true that some members are receiving more than their $250 referral fee from the Resort. The Resort encourages this form of capitalism during their sales pitch. All I say is more power to 'em. They paid for a popular product and are enabling others to share it with them...for a fee. Now we would never pay an additional fee for a referral, but for others who may not have friends who are members it might be their only option to receive the perks of a member. M&D
