Right - in May Referrals paid $174 and members paid $137. In September Referrals pay $147.90 and members pay $140. IDK - maybe I just suck at math but I don't see how they come up with their prices.... :banghead:
I thought that too, but the price on the websites don't include the members upgrades, its like renting the base model car or paying extra for the full size sedan. I just bought in so Im trying to justify it lol.
Have you legally done some type of contract switch that is notarized? I know someone that had to take their ex's name off of the contract when she was there, and I remember hearing that was a process. Hopefully you can do as much as you can before getting there to make the switch over easy.
Yes I have the letter from the Premier office stating me as the owner of the contract. We had to have our sales contract notarized, emailed to them and the prior owner had to pay a $150.00 transfer fee prior to them issuing my owners letter. I had to overnight the sales contract to New York after I had it drawn up by an attorney friend of mine and notarized here, ( I live in Texas) have them get it notarized in their state then emailed to Premier for their approval prior to the transfer, so all the hard work is done. The contract has been bought, paid for and the transfer of ownership has already taken place at the Premier office.
Sounds like all your ducks are in a row. Enjoy your white bands on what I believe is your 3rd trip. (We went on a referral our 3rd trip and enjoyed it. After being there twice before you can notice and enjoy the slight differences. For me I just really liked sitting up at the premier bar with the breeze and the ocean at my back. Elyse really made use of the robe and slippers in the room. And ordering the occasional continental breakfast and poolside food can be nice)
Thanks Steve, yes its our third trip. Looking forward to some of the benefits of it, we have never gone on a referral, so it will be new and nice to experience some of the benefits of a member. Like with most things some are just fluff to add perceived value and some are actually nice benefits to have. Like y'all I'm looking forward to that ocean breeze at the bar and Tina is looking forward to the robe and slippers. The poolside service was another thing we liked as a benefit, need to find out what the free spa service is, so I have a few questions once we arrive. They told me at the office when we did the transfer that since i booked as a red band i would have to cancel and rebook as a white band, we bought a package with hotel and airfare so that wasn't possible especially since it was 9 days before we arrived. After a few questions asking why since i was a member I wasn't going to receive member benefits, they told me to talk to someone there once we arrive. I paid more per night than I would have as a member, so Ill see what they say once we arrive.
We are going in August/September... not a member ...2nd trip ... booked thru Expedia for 8 days package plan for $2020.00 (plus $140.00 optional travel insurance) for 2 flying Delta. looking at my math ... I know this is kinda comparing apples and oranges but ... with a referral rate of $147 x 8 =$1176 for TTR rooms rates charges We paid only $ 2020 - $ 1176 = $ 844 left for travel costs for 2 r/t ... not sure if membership costs can compare to the market price at this time ...and we got pretty much the same costs last year in August too (our first trip) Not saying the White wrist band is not worth it, but economically, not sure if it is all of that... as always jmho
