We have been members for a long time and have usually felt that our membership had little value, however the member rate for an upcoming April trip was awesome. $180.60/couple/nt for Bash Tower is by far the least I have spent since the renovation. Gotta love the 30% off sale.
I assume you upgraded your contract for the tower? My old contract is that for garden, and moving to the tower is an additional $150 a night.
Yeah that was my question. You have a contract that allows tower rooms. Sadly mine does not so you end up paying more to book outside your room type.
Does it make that much of a difference to you over your regular room? Agreed with OP, great rate right now.
Yes I personally enjoy the tower more, and if the price is right, I will be upgrading my contract soon. I very much enjoy having a couch and a table, the extra space, and knowing where my room will be.
It really just depends on how you use the room. We do like room service, so the table is nice. Eating on the bed kind of sucks imo. We often plan our trips with groups of friends, so we often find that we are just generally hanging in the room post-pool/pre-dinner, or as the meetup spot before Bash. So to us, it kind of makes a difference. I know many people say "we are hardly in the room so it doesn't matter", and that is defiantly true for many, but just not for us. If it wasn't for that reason, I also would be happy with a garden room.
Our room is the plush Jacuzzi in front of the quiet pool. Good room just have to eat on the porch for room service. Its close to everything as well
