Rollback in AI Rates I also received the information about the rollback to 2007 AI rates for Premier members from their Director of Marketing. He said that the change went into effect last week. Shame for those that paid the 2008 rates up till now. Anyhow, I show the July 2007 rates at $85 going down to $68 in late August see below: Jan 04 – Jan 31, 2007 82.00 usd Feb 01 – Apr 14, 2007 90.00 usd Apr 14 – Jun 30, 2007 80.00 usd Jul 01 – Aug 19, 2007 85.00 usd Aug 20 – Dec 20, 2007 68.00 usd Dec 21 – Jan 03 2008 118.00 usd Still much better than the 2008 changes they proposed!
I would be interested in when the price roll back is to take effect? I have reservation's for mar 10th to 17th and paid 2008 AI rates.
If you booked with the hotel directly then you should contact them. They have always been good in the past about making the change for those that contact them. But as any other business, if you don't, they won't. Jamie
Re: Rollback in AI Rates I think its quite obivious the hotel has listen to its members. I'm sure us on Cancun Care aren't the only ones that had a shock when we saw them. I guess enough people raised questions for them to rethink there A.I. fees and made the change. Personally I feel the 2007 are were they should be for Temptations. MY BAD !!! OK, so $85x2; $170/night. Not bad, I can deal with that. I spoke to reservations today. Prices are definately rolled back to 07 price for premiere members Yeah for getting a break. Thanks for the tip BB&AB
I talked to Martha at the Premier office and she told me the prices we would pay for 08 would be 08 prices. She said there is no truth as to paying 07 prices for 08. If you don't mind me asking you did you talk to?
Here is perfect example of miscommunication between Premier Members and the resort. One member is told one thing and another is told a different thing. A.I fees should not even be a miscommunication problem. That should be set in stone and thats it. It's about as bad as one person saying the hotel is on the beach and another saying its not. I'm going to email the head guy today and I'll post back what the word is on this. I'll be out of town from Thursday to Sunday so might not be Monday til I'm able to post his response.
