Prayers and thoughts go out to the families of Canadian couple who were killed in Mexico.

I know it is fairly safe living in Mexico and this sad event can happen anywhere even in Canada. I just Hope those who committed this crime is caught and brought to justice. I also Hope People dont judge Mexico as being unsafe. Which is not the case.

Not trying to diminish the seriousness of the crime, but let's remember Chapala is 1300 miles and 22 hrs drive away from Cancun.

Mexico is a big country and unfortunately these things can happen.

I am saddened for the family that lost their parents.

I am gonna be blunt .
How many people heard about the young Mexican woman that died in Canadian custody in Vancouver BC. Not many I wager.

People get killed everyday by bad people all over the USA, Canada and other countries.

This murder will never get me to stop going to a great country like Mexico.
    This can happen in Toronto.

There are bad people all over the world.

Our prayers go out to their families God Bless :angel2::angel2:

I have read that the people did get caught that murdered this couple. The story seems to be that it was a retaliation for complaints about noises from a construction site. Guys got fired over it and maybe murder wasn't their intent, but in the end, this is what happened.
Mexico is not like home. Customs and traditions are different. Dogs bark louder and later. Music is played louder and later and typically, no once complains. You throw a grumpy pants into the mix, and things could get ugly. I have learned to mind my business and just allow things to be. This is not my country, I can not change a damn thing, so I just deal.

This is small in comparison to Michigan. We have not one but three of the top unsafe city's in the top 10. Detroit, Flint, Saginaw, Iv worked in all three . Mexico is much safer .
