    Am considering sending some items back home to england via mail.

    Has anyone have any experience of this or got any tips.

    I think Steve is probably the best person to ask.... But I dont think the Mexican postal system is great. We've taken stuff out their with us rather than post because things have not arrived out there. That said, I dont know if the same works in reverse. Whats the value of what you are going to send? Will you be very upset if it went astray? :?

    Don't. Correo de Mexico cannot be trusted, period. You can search the forum for tales of horror, but in general there is no guarantee that anything you ship will ever arrive (and vice-versa).

    No do not send normal post- it will not get there. I either send back to UK with friends/visitors or get friends going to the states to post for me.

    In my experience both FedEx and DHL are reliable in Cancun. Do not use the Mexican postal system.
