Always book the seats at the front of the plane, last on and first off way less time sitting in the uncomfortable seats.
take a package of wet ones and wipe down your seat and tray and the back of the seat in front of you and the seatbelt and arm rests on the plane.... they do not wipe these things down after the last person was in your seat and they could have been sick.. i always get sick after flying.. i dont anymore..
Saw an expose on the subject of airline cleanliness.... on one leg of the flight a mother changed a diaper on the food table, on the next leg, some one was eating. eeewwww
Wrap 2 75-100 watt light bulbs and put them in your bubba mugs. The lighting in the rooms are very low and not conducive to great home movies! Speaking of the travel portion of your trip here are two tips that have worked for me for years. 1 Give your immunity system a boost before you fly by taking Immunity-Fx or Airborne tablets for two or three days before you fly to help you from catching that "airplane cold". 2. If you are bothered by sinus problems, use a nasal spray about 1/2 hour before your take off time and again about 1/2 hour before you land and you will never be bothered with that killer head pressure during landing.

Scan a copy of your passport to your email address: Your taxi could be hijacked by banditos and all your id + luggage stolen - a color scan will serve wonders as every government office, even in Mexico, has access to the internet. Pull up your email with the color scan of your passport attached. Storing important documents in the cloud is great.
