Post a Travel tip here for Newbies and Oldies, we're never too old for new tricks and tips ,,,

An easy thing I do is I print my itinerary and put a copy in each of the outside pockets of all my luggage. That way if your luggage gets lost and the tags are damage they can easily find their way home.

Travel tip of the day: Pee before we take off because as soon as they close the door, I'm out and you can't wake me up.

Make a photocopy of the picture and facing page of your passport and bring it with you. Should your original passport get lost, it is apparently much easier to get a replacement travel document in the country you are visiting.

Remove the batteries(both going and coming) from any personal "toys" BEFORE packing them in your suitcase or carry on - dang things can start buzzing at the most inopportune times - lol.

Also pack those toys in a clear ziplock baggie right at the top of your luggage so airport security/customs don't have to be pulling things out to see what they actually are.

we do this all the time and swear by it on the basis that if you prepare well then you'll never need it. The one time you don't will of course be the one time that you lose your passport!

Keep an ink pen available to fill out the tourist papers on the plane. There are never enough pens to go around and papers have to be completed when leaving the plane.
