Possibly switching from Vegas to Temptation, need your help?

I COMPLETELY agree with Hedoaddict. We spent 5 nights last trip to Vegas. Had a great time to be sure...but I was DONE & ready to be home with my kiddos. :shock:

First time I went to TTR we stayed 7 nights. I could have stayed longer with NO PROBLEM. So last year we did. Stayed 10 nights and that was the perfect amount of time.

As far as customer service we never had a problem in Vegas but then again we were 4 scantly clad women out to have a good time. LOL! But TTR is WAY more customer service oriented.

As far as expense. Neither of my trips were too expensive to Vegas. But then I am a bit of a tightwad. We did do a couple of expensive meals one at Emmeril's Delmonico Steakhouse and a champagne brunch at the Paris buffet. Other meals were reasonably priced. (there are certainly NO 1.99 steak and egg breakfast deals like you heard of when Grandma went to Vegas back in the day you have to gamble a ton to get comped even a cheap meal and I dont do much of that) The buffet at TTR is mediocre. You wont starve. I will say that while the sevice at Emmerils place was supurb (if not a bit snooty/stuffy from the head waiter..they other guy made up for it) BUT the steak I had at TTR in the Tex Mex was better and at Emmerils I paid 65 bucks for a small steak, mashed taters and ONE glass of wine! I think you get a better value for your money at TTR. The clubs in Vegas were terribly expensive! BUT...we didnt pay ever...LMAO!

There are a few topless pools in Vegas but the majority are not...LOVE to spend my days topless in Cancun. As for the Vegas rules. Well...we were kicked out of Studio 54....and REALLY compared to some of the crap I do in Cancun...it was MINOR. They brought along FIVE BODYGUARDS for 2 WOMEN!!!! UG!

I also would never ever ever go to Vegas with "Mr. Angibaby"...no free drinks from random men! :lol:

 

Piss my money away to wake up broke with a hangover, starving or save my money have the time of my life and get a hangover and be able to feed myself and still do it all over again uhhhhhhh I love this place. And you know when we get to TTR everyone that worked there last year that we met still knows us. This place becomes family, ask any regular TTR addict and they will tell you the name of thier bartender from their last visit and the bartender will remember thier name and drink that they like. Now that is service.

Thanks to everyone for all the comments. I agree that Vegas is expensive, bottle service and stuffy clubs suck. Outdoor bars are more our scene. We are looking at February-March 2010. Can some of you let me in on the "poolside activities". My wife and I pretty open minded and enjoy having fun, but don't know what to expect.

Your making the right choice, I've been to Vegas Twice, been to cancun over 60 times, like everyone says the service is outstanding, beautiful water, friendly people, night life, very safe place, your going to have a blast, thx Mike

 

Temptation Resort ..Hands down... Best vacation you'll ever have...Been there 4 times..Going for a 5th come May2010... :bounce:
