I'm 5'0", and I'm seriously pissed about this. My favorite part of TTR was hanging out in the pool with everyone and not having to even get my hair wet. Sounds like I have to be carried around like an invalid or hold onto the edge like a kid. Or, I can stand on my tiptoes with water up to my chin. NOT sexy. This may be a deal breaker for me. Are there still "fun holes?"
We were ther at the same time as the O/P, and I commented at some length about the pool's height and cool temp in my trip report. For me, I don't care really. For Stacia's 5'1" (maybe" frame, it's just too deep to hang out in and be comfortable, and it was way too cold for her thin-blooded transfer-to-Texas self to actually spend any real time in... we met some other girls of like stature who had the same problem during the foam party. Low-quality foam. Had a party at DRM with their foam, and nobody had a problem with it being over heads. Different consistency, etc.
Im glad to hear this. Looking at the forecast it doesnt look "hot" and the idea of cool water doesnt sound great either. But as a cold Manitoban I imagine it will feel pretty darn good to me!
We were there In October and had no issues with pool water temperature. And weather was definitely subpar!... We do agree pool is too deep, although a lot more fun does go on out of sight underwater! lol
If that,s the truth,, must be a lot of pee in there cause some days the water is hot Years ago I was there in Jan,, and the water was freezing fo r days ,, then one morning on my chair saving venture at 6am,, there was steam/mist coming off the pool ,, the water was about 90f,,,, so I have seen and felt it , they had the capacity to alter the pool temp. They can also do it with heat exchanges on the AC units,,, but this is a new pool , have no clue now,, was just commenting on the ''never''
