This is a letter to the public in today's Novedades from Hazama Corp.--my translation.

    "Cancun, May 27, 2009

    To The Public Opinion:

In virtue of the unrest generated among the residents of Pok-ta-Pok Club by inexact information with ulterior motives.(sic) With this in mind, it is necessary to be precise and emphasize the following facts:

First: A Group of Mexican Businesspeople bought the Pok-ta-Pok golf course which, since the beginning has been in the hands of foreign investors.

Second: The zoning for that property has not been modified by Federal, State or Municipal authorities. The club will continue to offer its accustomed services to its local and tourist customers.

Third: Because of this, the current owners state quite clearly that they have nothing to do with those who might have said that there are building projects at Pok-ta-Pok.

Fourth:The first stage of Cancun and the areas around the the golf course have had various modifications, none of which have altered the golf course itself.

Fifth: Finally, if the evolution of tourist preferences in the long term require some unforseeable change, this will be processed with responsible planning before the general public with clear and agreed-upon objectives as well as at that time sanctioned in a timely manner by the corresponding authorities.
