I think we did. 2 people from our group are under 21, so it was either Oasis or RIU Cancun. Grand Oasis was not an option anymore.
I have been to Cancun over 10 times now, take the bus, it goes up and down the entire hotel zone. It's only about $1.00 per trip, it can take a little longer with stops but you can bring your beer with you. Plus if you plan to go out alot, it's going to get expensive paying $13.00 per cab ride.
