Thanks very much guys it really helps. I just want you all to promise me that this does actually get better, it hurts so much right now and doesnt seem like its ever going to end. I tried to call him so we could talk, but he said he was busy and didnt seem v. bothered. My friend said if I dont call him then he's more likely to call me because he'll be like 'wtf why isnt she upset'?? Is this ttue?

Oh and tahnks Fletch, Henry n Jase, you actually made me laugh

For me, it did get better once I realized that life might be ok without him; that there could be someone else. I remember feeling this pain you are feeling. Hugs to you, Kirstie.

Your friend may be correct, but beware of this that I've experienced myself and am currently seeing in my friends: He may not be like 'why isn't she upset' but instead be like 'is there someone else' and try to get back with you for just that reason, so you don't move on.... although in my friends' case, he is moving on.

hmmmm true.. whats even worse is we share exactly the same group of friends, we're all supposed to be going out tonight to welcome our friend back from the army. I can see me drinking a load, him ignoring me, and me sat on the kerb outside crying, spilling my heart to a complete stranger. what the f**k can i do??!

That's a bad situation to be in. Try not to get too drunk or the chance of things getting ugly is pretty high. Just pull yourself together and act like absolutely nothing is wrong. That's what I'd do.
