My Sunday Op/Ed... I have to agree with @Steve that although many think it would be a nice feature, to add the playrooms, play area, additional use of SkyBar...especially at night, it is simply not in the plans for TTR, and if youthink about it rightlfully so. In addition to extra cost/staff it is also a safety issue if you think about it. Booze and drukeness during the day is bad enough. Then add water, like the pools and hot tubs. Now add more time. Now add darkness. And although I advocate for SkyBar at nighr, now add the height. Not everyone is smart and responsible. Add the rest and it can spell disaster. As Steve said, get used to it as TTR does not want or need the potential issues and what come with them. Just my 2 cents (American).
Our opinion is the whole playroom/play area is something that sounds good in theory. But our experience is it isn’t all that it is hyped up to be. For example, people assume bc u r having ‘fun’ in public that they can hop right in and join which is just not right. Others are like sports commentators or interrupt to ask if they can have some space, etc Just better to go to your own room instead and invite who you wish
We have only been once and are returning this Friday for the first time in 3 years. My question is: the quiet pool closing at 6:00 means you can’t be in the pool at all or the bar closes down at that time? Sorry if that’s a dumb question.
It did close down when we were there in Feb. As we were waiting for Romanza and SHE we both commented it would be nice if we could get a drink. The bar at Romanza opened up so we had a drink there.
I was there last week and someone mentioned the quiet pool bar is now open until 10:30pm I didn't actually go over that way myself to verify but I guess it's true.
