Both of my parents' families are originally from coastal ZheJiang but I am not exactly sure where. Ningbo sounds familiar. My dad was born on Tachen Island.
Tachen? i'm not really sure about that, i know alot of zhejiang people came from Wenzhou, most shanghainese and ningbo people live in flushing. there isnt a big majority ningbo in nyc. hey, maybe you can understand my dialogue.
out of curiousity, do you happen to know zhoushan in zhejiang? it's another island basically, and alot of seafood, and where most of my relatives from mother side lived now. i guess they just never give up on the seafood thing.. anyway, good morning, i'm back to work now. and it's another day, it's quite cold and flushing is a good place to have hotpot..
