I used wifi as well in November, but I found the pay phones frustrating so just called from the room(to Edmonton as well) I talked 3x for 5 minutes or so and I think it came to $40...totally worth it to me for the conveniece. This time I think I will try skype as well...probably add Rogers plan to my iPhone to cover the bases:)

after last year,we will never bring our cell phones again. We had damage to our phone from the humidity, the battering stripe was pink which meant moisture. In years past i have always bought the phones cards from the gift shop and used the phones down the road. For ten bucks i got to call home # times so it was well worth every penny.

Last year I had Tmobile and it worked great- expensive but it work and Pierre had Sprint and they said there wouldn't be any issues with it working and so he paid the extra fee for international calling and it didn't even work. I'm hoping it works now since we both have Sprint....
