Does anyone know which international calling card is best or what rates run for Verizon cell phones in Cancun?
Verizon is $1 per min and phone cards are a disaster if you really need to call (and don't work very well for getting calls). Check www.mexitel.net for cell phones that are guaranteed to work and only cost $1 -per call- to the US. They send to you in the US before you leave so you have a working phone in the airport when you arrive.
I dont have a cell phone and I always buy a Telcel card. Their phone booths are everywhere and its really easyto use, just dial their no. then dial the no. you want to call and your hooked up. Im not positive but I think I got 30 minutes for 10.00 USD.
